Health Report Manager (HRM) Support Update

With over 8,000 HRM users across the province (and growing!), OntarioMD is improving our user support model for any HRM requests or issues.

On January 29, technical support for HRM was transitioned to the OntarioMD Service Desk from eHealth Ontario. Any HRM users contacting the eHealth Ontario Service Desk for support will be asked to contact OntarioMD Support at 1-866-744-8668, or by e-mail support@ontariomd.com

The OntarioMD Service Desk staff respond to calls and emails Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST, excluding statutory holidays.

As part of this change, support for HRM will be improved by:
  • Reducing the number of contact points during service ticket resolution
  • Providing quicker response and resolution times to service tickets
  • Keeping physicians informed of ticket status
When calling or emailing for support, please be prepared to provide the following information:
  • Your name and contact information
  • Clinic Location (full mailing address)
  • Preferred method of contact
  • Description of your inquiry; and any steps already taken
If your request pertains to a specific report and you would like to provide report details, please remember that OntarioMD does not require disclosure of Personal Health Information (PHI), but relies on the following non-PHI data elements:
  • Report date/time stamps:
  • Order #
  • Report #
  • Provider recipient(s)
  • Message Control IDs
Benefits Realization Case Study on Health Report Manager

The connecting South West Ontario (cSWO) Program’s benefits realization work stream supports and demonstrates health system benefits by measuring organizational and clinical value through electronic medical records (EMRs)

The Benefits Realization Program worked with the Urology Associates of Kitchener to study the benefits of HRM to the practice. The program found that HRM has provided clinical and organizational value to physicians across the south west Ontario region.

Benefits realized included increased patient safety, more timely information to support clinical decisions, and improved resource efficiency enabling process improvements.
HRM at the e-Health 2018 Conference

OntarioMD has successfully submitted the abstract "Value for Money: Approach to Quantifying Digital Health Solution Benefits" for presentation.

The presentation focuses on HRM as a digital health initiative providing quantifiable financial benefits and value to the health care system.
