The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) serves more than 43,000 physicians, including practising physicians, residents and medical students. Their mission is to strengthen the leadership role of doctors in patient care and be the trusted voice in transforming Ontario's health-care system.

The OMA supports the professional and personal needs of Ontario's doctors, so they can deliver better health care.

Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health is responsible for delivering a patient-focused, results-driven, integrated, and sustainable publicly funded health-care system. The ministry provides funding, planning, and guides resources in the health-care system and delivers key health-care priorities, while also providing direct services, including operating the world's largest public health insurance system.

Ontario Health

Ontario Health is an agency created by the Government of Ontario to connect, coordinate and modernize Ontario's health care system. They work with partners, providers and patients to make the health system more efficient so everyone in Ontario has an opportunity for better health and wellbeing.

The following organizations are now part of Ontario Health: Cancer Care Ontario, Health Quality Ontario, eHealth Ontario, Trillium Gift of Life Network, CorHealth Ontario, HealthForceOntario, Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN), Quality, and Shared Services.

OMA Insurance

Since 1956, OMA Insurance has been an advocate for doctors, using the group buying power of well over half of Ontario physicians to provide medical professionals with the right insurance coverage at every stage of their career.
