OMD Luminary Award

Luminary Award Guidelines

Purpose

The OntarioMD (OMD) Luminary Awards honour physicians/clinicians, clinic managers, or other clinic staff who have demonstrated leadership to successfully implement EMRs and digital/virtual health tools in their practices to benefit their patients and ease the administrative burden on their practices. These tireless champions of digital health have overcome challenges and have persevered to leverage digital health to complement the individual ways they practice or have helped other practices use digital health effectively. They are like beacons shining a light on the importance of digital health for the enhancement of patient care living up to the Luminary name.

Personal digital health success stories are the most important part of the nomination. Stories should provide valuable insights to inspire other physicians/clinicians, clinic managers, and other clinic staff to embrace the advantages of digital health. Stories should be relevant and replicable.
