3 days onsite training. No additional cost.

Canadian Health Systems provides a complete menu of additional training for both doctors and office staff, including clinical skills training, practice management training and IT training. These additional programs are priced based on the training module purchased. The clinical training modules are thorough and are applied to the specific physician's practice needs and current patient flow. They can increase a physician's practice income by up to $40,000 p.a.

How many hours of physician training do you recommend?

8 hours and the physician will attain full meaningful use from then onwards.

How many hours of support staff training do you recommend?

Office Manager 12 hours, Medical assistant (varies depending on their mix of clinical v.s. Clerical activities) approximately 8 hours.

Are there additional fees for training for software upgrades (if so, please describe)?

Training on all upgrades is included in the license fee and provided on-line. All up-grades are designed 'in-line' with current functionality and usability to minimize any learning curve. Additional training can be purchased at any time at a reasonable rate.

Describe the EMR support offered to customers who acquire your Offering. Please describe any associated costs.

10 hours free support included.

Do you provide remote support to your customers? Please describe any associated costs.

Remote support included. No additional costs for remote log-in functionality for support.

Do you take support requests via email? Please describe any associated costs.

Support is available via e-mail. No additional cost.

In the event of a disagreement between you and your customer, will you support the notion of a dispute resolution process involving an independent mediator? Please describe any associated costs.

We support this process, as long as the client pays their associated costs. We have never had the need for this level of 'escalation'.

Do you have a formal process for managing customer-reported incidents? If so, what is the average age of incidents on your problem log before they are closed? Please describe any associated costs.

Yes, we use work item tracking tools. Average time is 3 days to close a problem, but 90% are solved same day, and the remainder are feature requests or enhancements that go into a subsequent release.

How often do you make a major software upgrade to your product?
